yardflowers 2023
The 2022-2023 winter was long, so long that I wasn’t sure that spring was ever going to show up. But once it did, it sure did. This year’s daffodils and tulips provided much-needed color and joy. Spring has sprung, indeed, but your typical fine art floral photography or botanical photography, this is not. A bit Fauvist, a bit pictorialist, even a bit antilandscapist, these flowers are all Mash and are all from my yard in Reno, Nevada.
